Frequently Asked Questions

Can I take a Zumba class, I have physical limitation?

Modify moves, so you can work at your pace. Listen to your body and do what feels comfortable to you
.
  What do I wear?

You want to wear something light weight and comfortable.Tennis shoe or shoes with support, are best. Avoid shoes with heavy traction because they are hard to move around in.

How will I learn the moves?
In Zumba, there are not many verbal cues. I use hand gestures and point to give students direction. Most students find there is a learning curve because it's different than other aerobic classes. Please don't get discouraged or feel silly. Everyone feels or has felt the same way, You start by learning the foot work and then add in the upper body. Remember, it's about having fun and working out

Bring water and a towel.
